The city of Shengzhou lies in the eastern of Zhejiang province, south of Hangzhou and west of Ningbo, in the Yangtze River delta economic zone. It is one of the first coastal openning-up cities of eastern. It covers an area of 1784 square kilometers, governing 4 street districts, 11towns,6 counties,463 administrative villages and 16 communities with a total population of 733,700.
